How to register QFAX V1.06 HP QuickStar Fax Pro V1.06 is a shareware software produced by a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals. But for more detailed information about the usage of QFAX, please read the file USAGE.TXT and follow the instructions. There are three methods you can use to register QFAX: Method 1. Register QFAX directly with the author ==> $20.00 To register QFAX directly with me, you need to do the following: a. Fill out the enclosed registration form, which is in the file register.frm. Print it out and sign it. You may not need to fill out every thing. But I need at least the following informations: Your name, your QFAX serial number. Your E-Mail address and/or your post mail address b. Put the registration form in an envelope and enclose a payment of US$20.00, payable to Mr. Anthony Mai. If you live in Pennsylvania please add a 6% sale's tax (making the total $21.20). Valid forms of payments are: Personal or Business checks drawn on a USA or Canada bank. International traveler's cheques of US$20. This is a convenient way of making international payments. Be sure to sign on both spaces provided for signature before you mail it! US dollar notes (cash). If US dollars are not available, cash in major foreign currencies can be accepted, too. However you should be aware that mailing cash in a envelope may not be allowed in your country. Bank checks, money orders, postal money orders also accepted. The author can NOT accept credit card payments, at least till the time when this software is release. Register QFAX on CompuServe using SWREG service ==> $20.00 This is the easiest and fastest way to register QFAX if you have a CompuServe membership, whether you are in USA or not. Just log on to CompuServe. At the "!" prompt type "go SWREG". It will let you search for available sharewares for registration. You may search QFAX using QFAX's SWREG ID number 8913, or using the author's CIS ID 102773,370. The whole registration procedure is very simple. After you register, a US$20.00 registration fee charge is added to your CompuServe bill. And I will receive a notice from CompuServe that you registered. Right after you register via SWREG, please send me a CompuServe mail to 102773,370 and tell me that you have registered QFAX using SWREG, and tell me your QFAX license number. I will promptly E-Mail you with the license number for you to unlock the registered features. Method 3. Register QFAX using your credit card via PsL ==> $24.00 This is the most convenient way for you to register QFAX if you do not have a CompuServe membership, whether you are in USA or in other country. Please be advised that the author has no affiliation with PsL (Public software Libraries) other than that PsL helps me to collect credit card payments and forward your registration request to me. They do it for more than 1200 shareware authors. PsL has a good reputation in doing this, but they do charge more than $6 fee for each registration they process.
