About DTX 2

DTX 2 is an editor for music, images, and digital sounds in the game
Descent II. DTX 2 requires Windows 3.1 or higher.

- HOG files: Import/export any resources
- Music: Play, save as MIDI or HMP, replace with any MIDI or HMP file
- Images: Display, animate, save as BMP, replace with any BMP file
- Sounds: Play, save as WAV, replace with any WAV file
- Supports Descent II registered version 1.0

Installation
============
Put the files DTX2.EXE, DTX2.DAT, and DTX2.HLP in a directory of your
choice. Create an icon for DTX2.EXE, or run it from the File Manager.
DTX 2 will create the file DTX2.INI in your Windows directory.


Registration
============
DTX 2 is distributed as shareware. This means that you may use DTX 2
for 30 days to evaluate it. If you continue to use it after that period,
you must register the software.

The cost is $15 US. If you are a CompuServe member you can register
the product online by GOing SWREG and entering registration number 5995.
If you are not a CompuServe member, please send a cheque, money order,
