By the way, Kathy, since you're also somewhere on this campus (CMU), have you been on the third floor of MMCH late at night? I've spent a lot of time there (since that's where my architecture studios were), but there are/were a few rooms in particular that usually have things that go bump in the night. I'm not sure it's still the case, but one evening, one room up there was filled with lots of children (ghosts thereof). I think that was the most scared I've been in a while. I was on my way to the restroom and walked passed it, knew something was going on in there, and decided to see what it was. I ran back and got two friends of mine to join me, and we went in to the room. My friends sat down while I was looking around. One of them said he felt uneasy and wanted to leave. I sat down, because there was so much going on the room I couldn't process it all. As soon as I sat down, I saw a little girl bouncing a ball (classic image, I know) next to my friend who was uneasy. As I looked around, I saw more and more of them... Annoying little buggers, really. I was sitting on a tall stool, and I'm rather tall myself, but I didn't expect to look down (ie. away from all the kid-spirits) and see this little boy with reddish eyes looking up at me like he wanted to play... I felt that whatever it was that wanted to play was just mean, nasty, rude, crude, tacky, and obnoxious. We left rather quickly. That was the only time I saw the children, but other things have floated through there from time to time. Perhaps you'd enjoy a stop up there. Let me know if you're interested, I'd be happy to make a special trip out of it. *grin* Ciao tutti. -Chris
