Hi, Larissa.

I did not have a recurring dream of the sort you suggest, but I did have a
waking dream (or vision?) with a figure--actually two of them--that
resembled the creepy fella in your dream. You see, I used to have a
full-length mirror in my room, facing the foot of the bed. The
Chinese art of arranging domestic furniture says this is a bad thing
to do. In any case, during a period of a few months, most
concentrated inside one week, I would wake up in the middle of the
night and see spectral images in the mirror, although it was
completely dark in the room. Here are the visions I saw before I had
the good sense to move that mirror--which had been purchased from
K-Mart--out of my room:

(1) A shadowy figure seemed to be coming out of my midriff as I lay
in bed, its arms raised menacingly, its eyes glowing yellow. Its form
was humanoid, but its outline, while quite discernible, shifted like
it was partly fluid or gaseous. I immediately turned on the light and
it was gone. The right side of my body, where the thing seemed to
stem from, was cold then. I kept the light on and read for about 20
mins. but that side was still cold, suggesting a psychosomatic
reaction, or that something was really affecting my body!

(2) This is the vision relevant to your dream. I awoke and saw two
hooded figures, hood up, with glowing red eyes. Their robes were
grey. One figure was quite a bit taller than the other, and they were
just standing there, arms crossed, staring at me from the mirror.
Except for their glowing eyes, the rest of their faces were black.
Lights on--gone. They also seemed evil.

(3) A peculiar series of doppleganger experiences with the mirror
followed. Skeptics will dismiss these as waking dreams, of course,
but one peculiarity tells against that notion: an experience of visual
precognition. One time I awoke and
saw in the mirror a full-colour image of myself, like a reflection,
lying in the bed, head bent upward to look at the mirror. OK, I
thought, there's my reflection. But then I realized that, again, the
room was completely dark. Or very nearly so. And I noticed a
silhouette moving beneath the colour image--a brief test revealed that
shadow was really me! The image was something else. Spooked, on went
the lights (a bedside reading lamp), and I checked the mirror. I saw
the exact same image I saw in complete darkness, the same image of me,
craning my head up at exactly the same angle. This same phenomenon,
including the precognition of my own image in the mirror, happened
twice more, and the last time I was sitting bolt upright, and it was
obvious from the start that it was not my reflection, but on went the
lights, and without thinking about it, I was so scard I sat bolt
upright, and there it was! In all three cases the images seemed precognitive.

(4) I decided to move the mirror to an adjacent wall so it was almost
next to the right side of my bed towards the foot. I figured I would
not be able to see anything at such an oblique angle. Wrong! Next
morning, I saw what looked like a holographic image of a woman,
projecting from the mirror. This was in the morning light, unlike the
other cases, and the phantom was just hanging in the air, coming 'out'
of the mirror, it seemed. The woman was wearing a long, high-collar
gown, with frilly lace around the neck--it looked Victorian to me.
Her long hair was raven black. But her face--it was half skeletal,
her flesh decomposing. It faded.

(5) Next morning I did not even wake to see something: I saw a
severed woman's head, flesh actively decomposing, slowly coming
towards me, same hair as yesterday's phantom. I woke up screaming,
although all my mom heard was a half-awake "Ahhhhhh...." hardly the
howling I thought I was engaged in.

Finally, the mirror went in the store-room and the images ceased.
Later, I experienced a haunting of that same room. I can see auras,
and energy bodies in the air. I could see a humanoid figure standing
in the corner of my room. By this time, I had rearranged my room, and
the spook was standing where the head of my bed used to be when my
mirror was giving me trouble. It would stand in the same place for a
long time, disappear, and reappear. This went on for months. I got
used to working beside it at my desk, seeing it project out of the
wall. I photographed it once, and others can see the humanoid
outline, the one I saw. Interestingly, in the photograph, the figure
appears shadowy, yet I saw glowing energy, such as I see when I view
auras. Also, I shone that lamp at the thing when I photographed it,
just to see what would happen. You know what? The light stopped dead
at this shadowy region, in apparent defiance of the laws of physics.
If it was just a play of shadows on the wall, it was damn peculiar. I
briefly showed the photo to a friend who is psychically sensitive, but
she did not want to see it much, apparently finding it evil.
Now that I think of it, it is possible that the spook I saw in
the mirror, or some of the spooks, were reflections of the spook that
appeared in the corner (although I could not see it then; my ability
to see auras suddenly was greatly enhanced one night, the same night I
first saw the spook standing in the corner).
Anyway, I'm out of that condo-apartment now. My sister lives
in the same building, though, and I once met the woman who bought our
old place. She was angry because she claims many of the major appliances
were not working when she moved in. The stove, the air conditioner,
the washing machine,... They were all working when we left. Weird
coincidence. I have never had any like problems since leaving that place.

Ciao for now,
