The house we moved into was previously owned by an old woman, who had actually died in the house. My room was her bedroom (although she died in a hospital bed in the livingroom). The room was decorated in the appropriate style for an old lady but not for a little girl. Before we even moved into the house my Lines: 27 mother had my room completely redecorated, I never even saw it in it's original form. It was a picture perfect little girl's room with pink and yellow flowers on the wallpaper, a pink rug and big, billowy white curtains, and I can't forget the big canopy bed!!! A few nights after we moved into the house I came to breakfast and asked my mother if an old lady had lived in my room before I did(she had not told me about the previous owner, worried I would be scared, or more likely that my older brother would torture me). My mother asked why I would ask such a question. Then I continued to tell her that I had met the old lady in my dream the night before in my room, but that my room looked different. My mother asked what I meant by different, and I explained the room perfectly, before it had been decorated!!! My mother tried to contain herself from freaking out, I didn't seem to be scared or frightened, so she didn't want to overreact. Years after we moved from this house she told me this story. I truly believe I met the previous owner. What do others think? I also had a visit from my decease grandfather in the same room. I have never had a "ghost" experience since, do you think it was the room? the fact that I was a child? or me? I'd be curious to hear other reactions.
