Well, I have the time to type today, so here goes... It was a summer night, and some friends of mine and I were goofing off in Santa Fe, NM. Well, we had a blast until about 3:00 am, and then decided it was time to go home. Needless to say, I was tired and my friend in the passenger side fell asleep once I started driving home (about 25 mi. away). I was about 10 miles north of Santa Fe when a weird feeling came over me. I looked off to the right and saw a white ape running beside my car. Well, when I'm really tired I have a tendancy to hallucinate, so I wasn't too worried when I saw the ape. After a few seconds, though, I realized that it wasn't a hallucination, so I woke up my friend and had him take a look. He freaked out, just as I did. At about that time the ape turned and looked at us. The ape's eyes were an orange-red that seemed to glow as if there was a fire behind them. It kept up with us for a little while longer and then turned off and ran into the mountains. When I finally looked at my speed- ometer, I was going about 60 mph. More than likely, I was going slower when the ape was running with us, so I figured it was running about 50 mph. I've gotten a few e-mail responses to the original post, and the major consensus was that I saw a bigfoot. If anyone else has any comments or questions, I'd love to hear them.
