New features in this version:
- NEWS !!!
- My newsreader is now ready for beta - try it out !
- There are a few things that are still missing, like UU / MIME support and threading, but there should be enough for you to get a general idea about how it will look like when it's finished.
- If a menu-item (in news) doesn't do anything, please don't report it yet - there's still parts that aren't completed yet. If however, it traps, please let me know.
- Things to be added are amongst others:
- Searching - both in headers, and within articles.
- Options for retriving new articles instead of just headers
- Options will be changeable per group - eg. you can automatically download all headers in comp.os.os2.announce, but not the ones in other groups.
- I'll add lots of other views to it - like threaded, new articles only, interesting articles only
- UU and MIME support
- Automatic picture viewer - great for all those alt.binaries.pictures groups :)
- Kill-file for all those lamers out there you don't want to be disturbed by
- National character support (part of MIME)
- Your suggestion goes here
- Nicknames can now be up to 32 characters, for those servers that supports it.
- qexport.cmd and qimport.cmd are rexx scripts that can be used to export/import your quicklist to an ascii file.
- I've fixed a few traps here and there - most importantly in the WWW - where it would sometime trap after going back/forth between a lot of WWW pages (probably > 50)

Notes about this version:
- News is almost there...
Remember
Double-click on any URL in the IRC windows !!!
You can also create new toolbar buttons and assign actions to them - try creating a button that opens an URL, and set the URL to "irc:/server"
Don't forget quicknicks - instead of "http://www.altavista.digital.com" you can just enter "altavista" - alot faster !
Use PGUP and PGDN to scroll the command-history in IRC.
