OS2MERGE DOC: Howdy, this is my first OS/2 program. It is not some major feat of coding or run in 16m truecolor. It just dose what it's supose to do, merge TEXT files. I wrote this program becouse there have been many times when I have wanted to combine multiple TEXT files downloaded from the internet into a single file. I could then load the single TEXT file with a editor and do a text search for the string/game/filename/whatever I was looking for in the multiple files. This file was written when I download aboult 200 text files with Game Genie codes. Rather than wade through all the files for the game I wanted, I wrote this file. To run it is very simple. When you run the program, enter the name of your output file which all your TEXT files will be put into. Then enter the path/name of the files to merge (An example: *.TXT). That's it. It's best if run from your path. This is my first compiled OS/2 program. I just decided DLd a compiler from hobbes and give it a try. Also, it supports HPFS long file names. It is compiled in optimized 32 bit code. I expect it won't eat your HD but as with any software, use at your own risk. Later all...... Wilee Coyote - mambbs@dnaco.net
