If you currently have version 1.21d or later, you can easily remove this older version using the NWREMOVE utility included in that package. If you want to keep the older versions, this is fine as long as you do not run older versions at the same time as this new version. ** Installation Instructions: If you have received the NWC files in an archive such as a ZIP file, extract the files into either a temp directory on your hard drive, or onto a dedicated diskette. Run the SETUP application that is contained in this directory or diskette that you created. For example, if you extracted the application files into a disk in drive A: then from the Program Manager you would select the Run command from the File menu, type A:\SETUP and press enter. Once SETUP starts executing, just follow the prompts. After the install is complete, an on-line context sensitive help file can guide you the rest of the way. ** Installation Problems: The SETUP utility tests most of the files that are installed to make that they have not been corrupted or subject to tampering prior to their installation. If you get an error during installation which indicates a changed or corrupted file, you may experience problems with the product after it is installed. In this case, you may want to check with our support services to see how you can download or acquire a new copy. The fee for mailing a diskette with the latest Shareware version is currently US $7, payable directly to us as described in the "How to Order" section of the help file. It is also possible that the SETUP utility is experiencing problems installing the application files onto your system even if the source files have not been corrupted. Some disk caching utilities may cause this to happen. If you are using a disk caching utility on your system, and you experience difficulties during the SETUP process, then try running SETUP from a clean boot. This involves rebooting your system such that the disk cache is not loaded. ** A Note About Future Upgrades We may, from time to time, release new updates that enhance the software base included in this version of NoteWorthy Composer. These updates will be provided as *.UPG files, which can be processed by the enclosed NoteWorthy Updater application. They will be made available at our web site. Minor issue upgrades will not be announced. When we have a major new release of NoteWorthy Composer, we will notify all registered, "wired" customers via e-mail when a major update is made available online. ** Getting Support/Providing Feedback: You can reach NoteWorthy ArtWare at one of the following addresses: Internet EMail: NtWorthy@AOL.COM AOL: NtWorthy MSN: NtWorthy Compuserve: 73561,1021 Prodigy: KBHV62B You can find us on the web by starting at the following URL: http://www.ntworthy.com Alternately, if you do not have access to us via on-line methods, you may write to us at the following postal address: NoteWorthy ArtWare, Inc. 9432 Jenmar Drive Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526-9647 USA Note to registered users: For best service, be sure to indicate that you are a registered user on any correspondence with NoteWorthy ArtWare.
