System Requirements
-------------------

Beyond Compare runs under Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11
and Windows 95.  The 16-bit version does not support long filenames,
and is limited to comparing the first 64kb of text files.  A 32-bit
Windows 95 version without these limitations is now available through
our web site (see below).


Installation 
------------

To keep the download small, this version of Beyond Compare does not
use an install program.  The following files should be copied to a
directory of your choice:

  BEYOND16.EXE     The Beyond Compare program file
  BEYOND16.HLP     The help file
  README.TXT       This file
  VERSION.TXT      Version history

A Program Manager icon can be created for BEYOND16.EXE either by
using File|New within Program Manager or by dragging from File
Manager.


Uninstalling
------------

To uninstall Beyond Compare delete the above mentioned files, as well
as BEYOND16.INI in your Windows directory.


Registration
------------

Beyond Compare is shareware.  Please register!  You can register
through CompuServe's Shareware Registration database using ID# 13019,
or you can register through the mail.  Complete details are in the
help file.
