 XMP3 Manager v1.0 Beta by Kuan-Ta Chen (Xshadow)

MP3 (MPEG Layer 3) !! The new standard of audio compression. It comes with
1:10..12 compress rate (or 64..56 kbps per audio channel), which save us 
large storage space. So it becomes so popular after ISO/IEC constite it.
I have seen so many many MP3s spread out over the internet recently, and because
of the simplicity of making a MP3 file, more and more MP3s will appear.
It's so convenient, potential and excellent. But because the more and more amount
of MP3s on our computer, we need a MP3-mananging tool to help us conventiently 
managing and listening. So, I decide to write a program doing such actions for us.
It's why XMP3 Manager !!

Why it names ?
==============
'XMP3 Manager' ?? Maybe you will consider it a program running under XWindow..:p
I named it 'XMP3 Manager' just because the 'X' of my ID 'Xshadow' and it manages
MP3s. Shortering call it 'XMM', the reverse of the new technology 'MMX' of Intel.:p
And why i named my ID as 'Xshadow' ?? No other reason, just i think it's cool.:Q

Requirements
============
There are no specific requirements to run that XMP3 Manager.  It is 
designed to run under Windows 95/NT. I don't know whether it is compatible 
to Win32s. As I think, it should work properly in a network environment, 
but I cannot guarantee as I do not use a network myself.

Files & Installation
====================
To Install 'XMP3 Manager', just unzip 'XMM10B.ZIP' and you will find the 
following files in the directory :

	XMM.EXE		-	The main executable of XMP3 Manager
 	ABOUT.DLL	-	DLL for splash screen and about box, necessary.
	FILE_ID.DIZ	-	Simple Description of XMP3 Manager
	README.TXT	-	XMP3 Manager's documentation (English)
	READMEBG.TXT	-	XMP3 Manager's documentation (BIG-5, Traditional Chinese)
        HISTORY.TXT	-	History of XMP3 Manager (English)
	HISTORBG.TXT	-	History of XMP3 Manager (BIG-5, Traditional Chinese)

You can drag the 'XMP3 Manager' icon into the Startup folder so that XMP3 Manager can
automatically loaded whenever system starts.

Features
========
* Fully Control of 'WinPlay3' (the MP3 Player), include auto-lunch, window visibility,
  position, always on-top property, other windows states and more. 

* View and edit ID3 Tag-Format (designed by Johan Sassner), includes Songname, Artist,
  Album, Year, Genre and Comment, these information are embedded in MP3 file.

* Support MP3 information display, includes MPEG version, Layer, Bitrate and Sample
  Frequency.

* Support lyrics viewing, customable multiple file-extension, the most facility.

* Win95 & MSIE/Office 97 Style Interface. 

* Support multi sets, you can have many sets which has different MP3 files. For Example,
  you can put one album of MP3s into one set. The most flexibility. 

* Play sequence includes top->down, bottom->up, shuffle and random.

* Minimized as a trayicon, not take the space of taskbar. 

* True 32-bit native application.

* Sort MP3s by filename, song length and path, of course you can select no sort. 

* User friendly interface, drag&drop, flexible panel location and size, dockable toolbar,
  and much more.

program,  provided  you  distribute  the  whole program
and its documentation without modification.
