1. Using CoolWake
CoolWake allows you to set yourself any number of
one-off or daily alarms.  CoolWake can play both
CDs and .Wav audio files as alarm sounds
(Hey, a lot more pleasant than the usual...)

CoolWake also lets you type yourself a list of
reminders which it shows you when the alarm goes 
off.

To set a one-off alarm:
   * select the day from the calendar
   * use the arrows to next/previous months
   * pick the time using the Hour and Minute sliders
   * Click the Use CD check on if you want the alarm to
     use the CD (make sure CD is in Player).
   * Select starting track using Starting Track slider
   * Click the Use .Wav check if you want to use a wav
     audio file.
   * Use the Browse button to find wav file.
   * type any reminders in the Reminders box.
   * Press Set! button when done.
   * You can cancel the alarm using the Cancel button.
   * When the alarm goes off, a dialog with two buttons
     is presented.  Click the Snooze button to wait
     another 5 minutes in silence, or press the Awake
     button to stop alarm.

To set a daily alarm:
   * Click the 'Use Daily' check box on.
   * Follow the same steps as for the one-off alarm, except for
     picking a day (alarm works every day).

address (depending on which you supply) as well as instructions
on how to issue the password to CoolWake (it's pretty simple). 
Once CoolWake has the password, it will no longer display the 
startup message, and you will have the added satisfaction
of knowing that you have done the right thing.
