Uninstall Instructions for Penny Penguin's Math Bingo ----------------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE: If you are installing the registered version of "Penny Penguin's Math Bingo" you do NOT need to uninstall the shareware version first. The "Penny Penguin's Math Bingo" install program will copy over your old files and program icons with new ones. A) WINDOWS 95 VERSION 1. Delete the program files from your hard drive a. Click on Start/Programs/Microsoft Explorer. Click once on "mbingo" to highlight it, not on the + to the left of it. Select "Delete" from the "File" menu. b. When you are sure you no longer want these files double-click on the Recycle Bin on your desktop, and select "Empty Recycle Bin" from the "File" menu. 2. Remove the program and group from the Start Menu Programs a. Click on Start/Settings/Taskbar. Select the "Start Menu Programs" tab. Click "Remove" and click on "Penny Penguin's Math Bingo", to highlight it. Do not click on the + to the left of it. If you did, now click on the - to the left of it. Click "Remove." 3. Your uninstall is complete. B) WINDOWS 3.1 VERSION 1. Delete the program files from your hard drive a. From Windows, double-click on the "Main" group. Then double-click on "File Manager." Find the directory where the program directories exist. If you used the default when installing the program, the directories will be in: c:\mbingo (See "FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES" below if you have difficulty locating your program files.) b. Highlight the c:\mbingo directory. Do this by first clicking on the "C" near the top of the inner window of the File Manager. Click once on "MBINGO." You may need to scroll down the list of directories to do so. c. When "MBINGO" is highlighted, press the Delete key. 2. Delete the program group and program icon a. From Windows, click just ONCE on the Penny Penguin's Math Bingo icon. If you see a pop-up menu above the Penny Penguin's Math Bingo icon, click anywhere else on the screen to close the menu. b. Press the Delete key (or select File/Delete). 3. Your uninstall is complete. FINDING YOUR PROGRAM FILES There is a quick way to determine where your program files are located on your hard drive. In Windows, double-click on the LatticeWork Software group to open the group. Then click just once on the "Penny Penguin's Math Bingo" icon. From the "File" menu select "Properties." Under working directory you will see the directory where the program files are located.
