Moms Classic Knitting Utiltiy

 1. Purpose
   Mom is a knitting math utility for beginning, advanced,  hand and machine knitters.
Mom works transparently with centimeters or inches and inputs fractions for non-Metric dimensions.  Mom calculates stitch and row gauge from a test swatch, or inputs gauge directly.
   With needed sts/row gauge, Mom determines needed rows for lengths, stitches or widths and increases/decreases for your design. Creates simple patterns instructions for continuous lengths, widths.  Mom is a basic knitting math computer giving direct stitch and row answers. Useful for stitch and row gage conversions of existing patterns. Mom accepts  dimension (inches, cm, rows, stitches)  when describing dimensions.   Comes with extensive help file, tutorials and nearby math calculator, (+, -, *, / ).

2. Installation 
  To install Moms Classic in Windows 3.x, Open the Program Manager, select Run from the file menu.  Click the browse button and locate the file directory where you unziped this letter. When you locate the correct directory, select (click on)  the program name setup31.exe.  After it is selected, click the browse ok button.  The browse window will disappear. Now the run dialog Command entry should contain an entry of the location and name setupw31.exe  
   ( for example C:\download\setupw31.exe).
  Click Runs ok button to start the automatic installation program that will guide you to installing Mom Classic Knitting.     

3. Program status 
  Moms Classic Knitting copyright Richard Foy, Triple-D Software 1997 and  is a shareware. See Mom's help files for further information.
