ALBERT BRITTON NAMED

PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

OF THE CLARIDGE AT PARK PLACE, INCORPORATED


Atlantic City, NJ -- The Claridge Hotel and casino Corporation announced the 
appointment of Albert britton as President and Chief Operating Officer of The 
Claridge at park Place, Incorporated, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary 
which operates the Claridge Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Britton's appointment was announced by Robert M. Renneisen, Vice Chairman of 
The Claridge at Park Place, Incorporated, and Chief Executive Officer of the 
Corporation and its subsidiaries.

"Al Britton, who has been with the Claridge since its opening, consistently 
handles his responsibilities in a highly credible manner," Renneisen said. 
"Now, as president and COO, he will continue his outstanding performance in 
handling the operational concerns of the Claridge."

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Britton served as chief operating officer of 
the Claridge from July 1995 until December 1995 and executive vice 
president/general managerof the Claridge from April 1994 until June 1995.

Mr. Britton has held several senoir management positions at the Claridge, 
including executive vice president of operations from December 1992 to March 
1994 and senior vice president of operations from December 1991 to November 
1992.

He has been with the Claridge since it opened in July 1981 and served in 
various accounting and management positions, including assistant financial 
controller and director of casino accounting. In November 1985, he moved from 
Finance to Casino Operations, where he served in various executive positions, 
primarily responsible for the management, administration and analysis of 
casino operations.

Mr. Britton holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Glassboro 
State College in Glassboro, New Jersey, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

He also serves as a board member of the various trusts for the Atlantic City 
Citywide Progressive Slot Systems.

Albert Britton, his wife Debbie, and their two children, Justin and Samantha, 
reside in the Cedarbrook section of Winslow Township, New Jersey.

GLENN LILLIE APPOINTED

VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

AT THE CLARIDGE CASINO HOTEL


Atlantic City, NJ ---  Glenn Lillie has been appointed vice president 
marketing communications at the Claridge Casino Hotel.

In his new capacity, Mr. Lillie is responsible for public affairs, 
advertising,entertainment, special events, internal communications and 
community affairs.
Prior to his appointment, he served as vice president of public affairs from 
February 1992 until December 1995.

Mr. Lillie began his casino hotel career with the Claridge in November 1980 
as the training manager. In 1982, he became the director of public relations. 
He moved to the Tropicana (Atlantic City) from January 1983 to April 1985, 
also as the director of public relations. Upon his return to the Claridge in 
1985 he became executive director of advertising and public relations and was 
promoted to vice president in March 1988.

Mr. Lillie is a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. He 
holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/Sociology where honors included 
the Dean's List, President's List and President of the Sophomore Class.

Mr. Lillie is a member of the Board of Trustees for the South Jersey Stage 
Company and currently serves as a Foundation Board Member for Cumberland 
County College in Vineland, New Jersey and as Vice Chairman of the Greater 
Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. He is active in numerous professional and 
civic organizations including the Literacy Volunteers of Atlantic County, 
Governor's Council on the Arts and the Wheaton Cultural Alliance.

Mr. Lillie resides in Absecon, New Jersey.
