Cricket '97 patch for Windows 95 v1.0 This patch fixes the following bugs - - Batting has been improved - Modem/Network play bug fixes. Modem play should now work at all speeds. - Alt+Tab task switching in Windows 95 fixed - Wicket keeper should now stay behind the stumps Note: If keeper bowls, he will still not return to keeping. - Bug with Custom Teams in World Challenge score table fixed - Additional help available - Camera glitch fixed - World challenge table glitch removed *** Installing the patch (Win95) *** Begin by extracting the files to your hard disk. This document covers the two most common methods. USING Pkunzip: ------------- From an MS-DOS window, change to the directory that you have downloaded the Cricket '97 patch to. Type the following: PKUNZIP C97WINP1.ZIP C:\C97 If you have installed Cricket '97 to a directory other than C:\C97, then change all references to C:\C97 to the desired directory path. USING Winzip: ------------ Double click on the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop. Double click on the drive that you have downloaded WINPATCH.ZIP to. Navigate your way to the folder where C97WINP1.ZIP is. You may now either double click on C97WINP1.ZIP to open it, or right click on it and select the 'Extract To' option. If you double clicked the C97WINP1.ZIP icon, you will now have to click 'Extract' in Winzip. Click the mouse in the 'Extract to:' field, and enter C:\C97 Now click on the 'Extract' button. If you have installed Cricket '97 to a directory other than C:\C97, then change all references to C:\C97 to the desired directory path. AFTER EXTRACTING FILES Having extracted the files, you should now have the new WINCRICK.EXE and WINSTALL.EXE in your C97 directory. Now you can just run the game as per usual.
