Copy Machine v.92 Description: This program turns a TWAIN scanner and a printer into a copy machine without going through a graphics program. It makes multiple copies (up to 99). If you need more, tell me, I'll fix it so it will do more. 99 just seemed like a good place to stop. Price: It's free. I just got a scanner last week and decided to see if I could do this. (I could.) I want to write a program that files scanned stuff, but needed a way to get the scanner to work without going through a lot of trouble first. Do what you want with this, just don't sell it. If you like it, email me and tell me what you think. Hell, even if you don't like it tell me. How to contact me: If you really want to get in touch with me (bug reports, praise, whatever), my email address is rnutt@ix.netcom.com. If you rather mail me something (a check perhaps) my address is 1001 Live Oak Ridge, Austin, TX 78746. Requirements: I don't know what kind of hardware this program requires, besides a TWAIN scanner and a printer. I wrote it on a Packard Bell Platinum XI with a UMAX S-6E scanner and a HP Deskjet 855c, so I know it works on that. If you have a system that has problems tell me. It does take Win95. It also needs the VB 4.0 32-bit runtime. Most people who download a lot have this, but you can get it from www.microsoft.com if you don't have it. Also, go to www.wang.com and get their Imaging software for Win95. There are some OCX's that this program needs that are part of Imaging. Imaging is a free program that you can download. It's about 2 megs. I am not responsible for anything (good or bad) that this program does to you or your computer. If anything does happen, email me, and I'll try to fix it. If you want the source code for this program, write me. It's in VB4 pro, and really doesn't amount to much. I wrote it in about a day, so it's not real clean. But, it works. If you have any code you want to share with me, send it my way. What's New v.91 There were a lot of people who had problems because of a stupid mistake I made in v.9 so I had to do this to fix it. v.92 I received an email about making a dialog box pop up when you click on the number of copies so that you could type how many copies you wanted. It was a great idea, so I did it.
