FORM after it is installed, click on the "Dr. Form" icon in Windows or, if you're a DOS user, just type DF at the DOS prompt. ____________________________________________________________________ *** IMPORTANT INFORMATION *** 1. Regardless of whether you are running Dr. Form from DOS or Windows, it requires a "DOS" mouse driver. This is the software that drives the mouse. Most computer systems come with this already installed. If you find that the mouse is not working, consult the manual that came with your mouse, or the dealer where you bought your computer. 2. If you are running Dr. Form in Windows, it must be run *Full Screen* for proper results (this is the default). While you can run it in a 'Window', it will most likely experience some strange behavior. If you find Dr. Form running in a 'Window' you can return it to Full Screen by pressing ALT-ENTER (hold down the ALT key and then press the ENTER key). This procedure also works in reverse to take Dr. Form from Full Screen to a Window, where it could then be "minimized" to allow you to work with other programs and come back to it later. 3. Because Dr. Form is a DOS program, it's conventions will seem a bit different from standard Windows conventions. Most people catch on almost immediately though. Note, however, that while you can cut and paste within the program, you will not be able to between Dr. Form and other Windows programs. 4. Dr. Form uses it's own printer drivers (since it is DOS). Please remember to select a printer driver before you print the first time, either from the Main Screen, or from the Print Window. _______________________________________________________________________ Minimum System Requirements: If your computer can run Windows then you already meet the minimum requirements, otherwise the minimum requirements are: IBM or compatible PC DOS 3.3 or higher CGA video card or higher (i.e. EGA, VGA, etc.) 640K conventional memory (RAM) A mouse and hard drive are highly recommended. * If you are using a Laser Printer, please read Chapter 5 in the manual, "Printing With Laser Printers". _______________________________________________________________________ * Direct any questions or need for technical assistance to: Russ Irwin (412) 931-9577 IrwinWare (412) 931-8442 (Fax) 113 Beechmont Ave. Email: russ@irwinware.com Pittsburgh, PA 15229 On CompuServe: 71045,222
