Quick Shutdown provides an easier and faster way to shutdown Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.  To install copy qicshut.exe to your hard drive.  You may then create a shortcut in your startup folder to activate Quick Shutdown each time your system starts.  Quick Shutdown runs exclusively with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

Quick Shutdown creates an icon of an 'X' on a green or red background in the Taskbar Tray.  To exit windows left click the icon.  If the icon background is green a dialog box will be displayed to confirm shutdown, if the icon background is red no dialog box is displayed. A right click will bring up a shortcut menu which allows you to reboot, turn confirmation on or off, or close Quick Shutdown.
