How to Install Scytale
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If you don't want to verify the integrity of the package, go to step 2.
If you don't know how PGP works or if you don't have it at hand, go to
step two, install Scytale 1.4e and read the PGP Startup Guide included
in the package. Then install PGP and go back to step one.


> Step One : Verifying the Scytale distribution

If you want to check if your copy of Scytale had not been tampered with,
first, add my public key to your keyring. To do this, type :

   pkunzip scytale.zip buseine.asc
   pgp -ka buseine.asc

You can now verify the integrity of the original distribution. Just type :

   pgp scytale.sig

It will inform  you that scytale.sig contains a signature but no text. 
It may then ask you to provide the name of the file that it applies to.
Type in "scytale.zip", the internal ZIP file.

PGP should tell you that it has a Good Signature from:

   Patrick Buseine <buseine@musical.fdn.org>


(If you prefer, I can e-mail you my public key. Send me a message encrypted
with the public key included in the package, be sure to put your own public
key in the message and ask my public key.)



> Step Two : Installing the software
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Uncompress the file SCYTALE.ZIP to the directory. Type :

   pkunzip scytale.zip

Read the file README.TXT for installation instructions.
