URLBar will install itself on the taskbar. Then you are ready to add your first URL.
Adding your first URL (or link).
Right click on the URLBar icon on the taskbar and select the URLBar...
menu option and then the Configure URLs..
menu option.
Then click on the New
button and a dialog showing
two entry fields will appear. Enter the name of the URL as you want it to
appear on the menu (eg My Favorite News Page) in the first edit box.
And then enter the URL itself in the second edit box
(eg http://www.news.org/today.html
).
Then click the OK
button to close the dialog box.
Now click the Close
button in the next dialog.
Next time you right click on the URLBar icon your link
will be shown on the menu.
You can add or change URLs using the same procedure.
Launching a browser
When you select an URL on the menu your browser is launched and you will go straight to that URL. URLBar automatically knows which browser to launch because there is a default browser in the system. Netscape and Microsofts Internet Explorer both register themselves with Windows automatically.
Creating Static URLs
Only registered users of URLBarPro can create static URLs on the menu. The procedure is the same as creating normal URLs. However, be careful because these URLs cannot be changed or removed by anyone - they are there forever.
URLBarPro
URLBarPro allows you to publicise your site by preconfiguring Links to it and distributing URLBarPro (freely) to all your visitors or users.
