                        Win 95/NT Part 1: The Download

 Please begin with Step 1 and read through each step carefully. If you have
 already downloaded the installer and know where you have it on your hard
 drive, please JUMP to the bottom of the page.

 Step 1
      When you click on the link (at the bottom of this page) to
      download the file, you should get a window similar to that below.


      The names displayed will be different depending on what folders
      and files you have on your hard drive.

 Step 2
      The "Save in:" field near the top of the window is the one which
      interests us in this step. It tells Netscape where to save the
      file you are about to download. We want to place the file on the
      desktop so we can get at it more easily once it has been
      downloaded. Click on the upside down triangle to the right of the
      "Save in:" field. You should get a drop down menu similar to the
      image below.


      The slider on the right hand side of the drop down window can be
      adjusted if "Desktop" doesn't show up immediately upon clicking
      the triangle.

 Step 3
      Select "Desktop" by clicking once on it, and you should end up
      with a window like the one here.


      The only difference will be the icons you have on your desktop
      will be displayed.

 Step 4
      Click on the "Save" button. This will begin the download and place
      the ichat installer on your desktop.
