WebEtch provides powerful editing capabilities to help you rapidly
develop quality web pages.

WebEtch is based on the philosophy that to control how your pages look,
you need to see what's going on with the html tags.  WebEtch allows you
to edit at the tag level, giving you more control over the appearance
of the page. This helps to ensure maximum compatibility with a large
number of popular browsers. WebEtch doesn't force you to comply with
a set of standards or rules. It places you in control, with the power
and responsibility for your pages.

WebEtch provides the capability to launch your browser and preview
your page, as well as using DDE (dynamic data exchange) to update the
page as you make changes. You get to see how the page will actually
look in the browser as you make revisions.

As always, if you design pages for use by more than one browser, you
should test the pages to ensure that they display properly on all
browsers. This is true even if you are using a WYSIWYG editor.

WebEtch allows you to define your own custom tags and strings and use
them from the drop-down toolbar. You can add frequently used strings
such as your name, copyright notices, etc. and use them without retyping.
