Installation notes: Copy all the extracted/unzipped files to a floppy diskette and then install in the conventional way from the diskette (use the run command in File Manager or from the Start menu to enter "a:install"). Following installation, locate the file "Orioles.exe" in the directory you installed to (C:\IH101 is the default) and double-click it to run "Stars of the Negro Leagues".

If you are notified during installation that a certain file already exists on your system (if you have a previous version of this program this will happen) and you are asked whether you want to replace the old version with the new, it won't cause any problems to answer "Yes", but is not necessary with any file having a .wav extension. However, in the case of any file ending with the extension .txt or .hlp (as in the case of the electronic help file), you will want to select "Yes", that is, replace the older file, as these files are periodically enhanced and enlarged.

Order information: You can print this order form by selecting "Print" from the "File" menu above. There are programs similar to this one for all 28 currently active major league teams. You can order one division for $19, a league (National or American) for $49, or the entire collection for $89.

In addition, there are now two collections of "old-time" teams available.
These collections are available for $19 each, or $29 for both sets.

Four baseball "utility" programs are provided free with each order.
