If you find that the first time you run AdeptXBBS and it beeps twice and
then returns you to the command prompt you might want to try the following
in order to see if it fixes the problem.

There is a known bug in the event loader that can cause adeptxbbs to not
load properly on a new install.

Go into your \adept\events sub-directory

make a temp sub-directory.

MD TEMP

Move all the files into that temp sub-directory

MOVE * Temp

then run AdeptXBBS again, and it should come up without any problems.

version of AdeptXBBS.
