 DESCRIPTION-

        Even though published info at the Java introduction conference
        cited Netscape Communicator for OS/2 as coming, no date or
        promise from IBM has addressed this important support.
        Instead, there has been ranting and raving by Papow of Lotus
        that IBM will never support the Communicator and how mature
        Microsoft is as a company compared to Netscape.  It is time
        that John Thomson and the OS/2 IBM team make clear when we
        will have Netscape Communicator and Lotus 97 support for OS/2.
        I think the emphasis on NT should extend to OS/2, since OS/2
        still works better than NT particularly with OS/2 networking.
