                              TYPE- MOD/IMP

 DESCRIPTION-

Improve router capabilities in Warp 4.0. Being able to define
an I/P address on a Warp 4.0 client machine not visible to an
ISP and all requests appear as one machine. Having either a
dedicated I/P address or server assigned I/P address. This
would effect Warp 4.0 and Warp 4.0 Server MPTS configuration.

End users would then have the option of using an OS/2 Warp
Server or Client as a router to an ISP and enable various
installed platforms to access or share a single ISP connection.
With this capability to secure a secondary network behind a
single Server or Client machine. This capability is presently
enjoyed by free OS's BSD and Linux. This capability would mean
an administrator could offload tasks from a server to one or
several client machines to reduce demand on the main server.

As line speeds increase in capability and cable modems are
becoming more common place in homes several of my friends and
myself have implemented this on Unix platforms. ADSL and HDSL
will bring closer the reality of permanent IP addressing and
        24 hour connections.
