 DESCRIPTION-

As a desktop publisher, one thing I find lacking in OS/2 is the
EASY support of typographically correct characters like "curly"
quotes, em dashes, etc. I know some fonts support this, but it
is VERY awkward to switch between fonts and have to manually
format your document to be typographically correct.

The DeScribe word processor had true typographical characters
like curly quotes which automatically where applied to what you
typed. I don't know how they did it, but I heard it was
difficult. I need this ability in other OS/2 applications
(i.e., WordPro and Freelance Graphics). I hope OS/2 developers
follow Windows' lead in making these code pages available to
        users and applications.
