 DESCRIPTION-

OS/2 System Editor behavior: This is a rather annoying behavior
in OS/2, which should be fixed. Suppose you double click on a
file to read it, and it's not readable. So then the OS/2 System
Editor Warning box comes up, saying, "The editor detected
embedded NULL characters as it read the file. If you wish to
continue, the NULLs will be transformed into spaces; otherwise,
the file will not be loaded." You're presented with 3 button
choices, "Continue to Load," "Stop Loading file," and "Help."
You chose "Stop Loading File." You know what happens next?
The System Editor starts anyway (Albeit, it starts blank.) How
about a simple "kill process" call, so that, if you select
"Stop Loading File," the System Editor (or whatever default
text editor you set up for OS/2) does not load.
