 DESCRIPTION-

        In today's network centric world (IBM definition) it is
        terrible you need a monitor attached to the physical
        computer to see its output.  Instead, it would be much
        better to have the possibility to read the output on a
        remote terminal, like a X terminal.  This needs a review
        of the OS/2 GUI low level interface, but should be possible
        in such a way the current programs don't even know this.
        OS/2 layer GUI is powerful enough to support this feature.

        I am working inside HEP community and I have found out people
        look for an alternative to Unix.  WinNT is for now thought
        as the best alternative, but the impossibility to have a remote
        display limits its use.  The availability of such an
        improvement in OS/2 would make it the better solution for
        large environments, where a PC is used also as a server, not
        only as a client.
