Welcome! The update program (NAV95201.EXE) upgrades your already
installed  Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95 program, version 2.0 
to version 2.01 automatically. The program update enhances 
performance, resolves compatibility issues, and adds new features,
such as password protection and Norton AntiVirus NLM alerting.

Troubleshooting
================
If the update was not successful, check your system for the
following problems:

 *  Make sure you have Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95, 
    version 2.0 on your system. The update program doesn't 
    update any other version of Norton AntiVirus. To find out
    the version number, load Norton AntiVirus and choose 
    About Norton AntiVirus from the Help menu. The version 
    number will appear in the dialog box that displays.

    If you have an earlier version of Norton AntiVirus for 
    Windows 95, call Customer Service at (800)441-7234 for
    information on upgrading your software to the latest version. 

 *  Make sure you have enough disk space. You need approximately
    12 MB of free disk space to successfully update 
    Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95. 

    There may be situations when you need more disk space to run
    the update program. If your system has 12 MB of free disk 
    space and you are still getting a message about not enough
    disk space, free up more space (2 MB at a time) and run the
    update program again. 

 *  Make sure Norton AntiVirus is not currently loaded. The update 
    program will not run if the Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95
    application is open. 

 *  If you have verified that the problems listed above are not
    problems, there may be damaged or missing files that are 
    preventing the update program from successfully completing. 
    Uninstall Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95, reinstall it from
    the original distribution disks, then run the update program
    again.

    To uninstall Norton AntiVirus:
    1.  Choose Settings from the Start menu, then choose Control Panel.
    2.  Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
    3.  Select Norton AntiVirus from the list of applications in the 
        Install/Uninstall tab.
    4.  Click the Add/Remove button.
