Windows NT Notes

You  can  use caledos  under  Windows  NT 4.0 too, but under this enviorment 
SetUp.exe doesn't work; so after executed SetUp.exe you have to install ...
by hand the files into Windows directory.

    WinNt\System\caledos.exe 
    WinNt\System\caledos.cpl 
    WinNt\System\caledos.hlp 
    WinNt\System\cale_jpg.dll 

Installing the control panel extension under NT 4:

   1.load control panel 
   2.use "add/remove programs" 
   3.change the file types displayed to say "all files" 
   4.go to where ever caledos.cpl is located (wherever you put it) 
   5.select it and select "Finish" 
   6.close your control panel and re-open it 

That is what you  must  do,  after copying  the other files  into  your  system 
directory and putting caledos.exe in your  startup group,  in order  to  get  a 
full, proper install in WinNt 4.
