OPEN SKULL FOR ACCESS TO BRAIN

Using a scalpel you make a round incision in the side of the Alien's head. The flap of skin is pulled away from the skull and allowed to hang alonside the patient's head. A surgical drill is used to create a pilot hole in the skull. With a surgical pneumatic saw a large rectangular hole is cut in the skull. A rectangular section of bone is removed. The underlying membrane is cut with a scalpel and pulled aside, revealing what appears to be brain tissue..
