    This is an online database for Bulletin Board Systems that support
the DORINFOx.DEF drop file format.  Any door converter like DoorMaster or
QuickDoor will generally work well for non-DORINFOx.DEF users.	The file
format is compatible with Maximus v2.00, Omega, Quick BBS, RBBS 16.x/17.x,
Remote Access, SupperBBS, TAG and others.

This database contains reports on the casualities of the Vietnam War.

This version is ANSI only.  ASCII is not supported in this version.

The on-line database supports the following commands:
    B-Backward
    F-Forward
    Q-Quit

VCL is also multi-user/multinode accessable.

This is a very EASY door to install.  it works on any BBS that supports
DORINFOx.DEF.

VCL uses a fossil driver.  X00 or BNU will work.  This must be installed
first.	Refer to your fossil driver's manual for more information.

Make a directory called VCL and copy the files from this archive to it.

The following batch file illustrates how to setup VCL:

rem the parameter is the location and name of the DORINFOx.def file
rem
VCL c:\nstar\node-1\dorinfo1.def
exit
rem use whatever command you need to restart or exit to your BBS

Follow whatever setup your BBS requires.

Thats it, VCL is ready for the users.

I have decided to use sponsorships instead of registration.  I spent a great
deal of time deliberating on how I could limit the program for a shareware
version.  Limiting the software defeats my entire purpose.  Hence
sponsorship.

This software is FULLY functional in every way and is *NOT* limited.  There is
a screen at the end that states that the software is not sponsored.  Any
number of users can sponsor the software.  Each sponsor will be added to
the end screen and a new copy will be sent to the sponsored system.

The amount of money is not set.  The user contributes what they think the
software is worth.  The sponsor may contribute as much or as little as
they wish.
