License Agreement

This dialog will only be displayed the first time
you use zMUD.  You should carefully read the
following terms and conditions before using this
software.  By clicking the Accept button below you
indicate your acceptance of this license agreement
and warranty.  This agreement shall be governed by
the laws of the State of New Mexico.

Registered Version

One registered copy of zMUD may either be used by
a single person who uses the software personally
on one or more computers.  zMUD is registered to
you as a person, and not to your computer.  If
zMUD is installed on a network, all users of zMUD
must obtain an individual personal license for
the software.

You are prohibited from giving copies of your
registration ID to others.  Your registration ID
is assigned to you as a person and can be tracked
back to you.  Protect your ID as you would protect
a password.

Disclaimer of Warranty

THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD
"AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  Zugg software will not be
held liable for any damage to your computer system
or data files, or for any actions brought against
the you for using this software.  The user must
assume the entire risk of using this software.
Users should be aware of any restrictions imposed
by their network provider relating to MUD playing.
Users must also take responsibility for restrictions
imposed by any MUD they play relating to the use of
client software such as zMUD.

Shareware Version

Evaluation and Registration

This is not free software.  You are hereby licensed
to use this software for evaluation purposes without
charge for a period of 30 days.  If you use this
software after the 30 day evaluation period a
registration fee is required.  This software may be
registered using the supplied REGISTER program, or
via an SSL-enabled broswer from the zMUD web page
at http://www.trail.com/~zugg/register.html.  When
payment is received, you will receive a user ID
code that can be entered into the Register option
in the Help menu of zMUD to register your copy.
Unregistered use of zMUD after the 30-day evaluation
period is in violation of U.S. and international
copyright laws.

Distribution

The Shareware version of zMUD may be freely
distributed.  You must include all files included
in the distribution package.  You are specifically
prohibited from charging, or requesting donations,
for any such copies, however made; and from
distributing the software and/or documentation
with other products without prior written permission
of the author.
