Farnaby, Giles (c.1560-c.1640) English Composer. Over 50 of his works survive in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book. Some of these have have pictoresque titles such as "Giles Farnaby's Dreame," "Farnaby's Conceit," etc. Farnaby also composed psalms and a book of madrigals (1598). "Fantasia" is no. CXXIX (129) in Volume Two of the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book.
