Control is a complete replacement interface to Windows. It
consists of:-

An applications menu
A file launching system
A file commenting and search system
A Security system
A file management system

The menu system combines a sensible icon-less menu for your
programs with a default application. When you change the default
application by dragging one of your menu items to the launch
button, Control automatically displays the directory with the
applications work files.

When you choose a work file, Control will launch the application
inserting the work file's name between any pre defined leading
or trailing command line switches.

To help locate work files, you can attach text comments to files
and search for text within the comments.

The Security system allows PC administrators to control user
access to applications and files.

A full file management system is included with all functions
available to the PC administrator and a restricted set available
to the user.

The security system is very easy to set up with a single
password for the administrator to gain access to all facilities
and individual passwords for users to access their own menus and
applications.
