Balance Utility (Balance.exe)

This utility was created by Tony 2 designer Don Daglow, but has never been distributed by SSI. Its purpose is to balance homebrewed leagues so that they recreate statistics more accurately. It is not to be used with leagues purchased from SSI such as the 1992 or pre 1993 team sets.

To use this utility, first copy it to the main Tony 2 directory. The utility must be used anytime you start a new season. 

(1) Select 'Start New Season' with the league in question and setup a new season. Select your schedule and choose the new season option. Answer yes to the box which informs you that you are about to erase the current simulated season. Next, make your 'set DH for leagues' choice.

(2) Exit Tony 2 and return to DOS. Type 'Balance (name of teams directory\name of league directory)

Example: Balance teams\1993

(3) Return to Tony2 and play the season as you normally would.
