To all Lovers of Tony 2 Baseball:

Here is the my version of a 1994 preseason  Tony 2 team set. Suggested line-ups and pitching rotations are included. Complete LH/RH split data is included for all batters and pitchers.

It is based on the 40 man rosters of each team (plus invited minor league signees) as of 2/7/94.  For minor league players who are given a good chance of making the major league club, I have used their AAA minor league stats rather than trying to guess at a projection. This may result is some inflated hitting stats for the entire league as the "magic constants" in the maj file will reflect more extra base hits. For players who did not play at all in 1993, I have used their 1992 stats.

The price is only $5.00. This covers the teamset you have downloaded or been mailed.  It took me a week  to complete this set, using 4 stat sources. If you find any stat errors please let me know so I can fix them. 

To use this team set create a subdirectory called pre1994 under the Tony2\teams directory and copy all the team files plus the pre1994  *.maj file to that subdirectory. Open Tony2 and using the 'change league' option change to pre1994. Then you can play a 28 team 162 game season. Nick Keren has upgraded his Ultimate Ultilities to include 3 division play for each league. I suggest you try it out.

I have included a balance utility with the team set. Follow the directions in the balance.txt file in order to use it. It may help to make your seasonal replays more accurate. The 1894 year is I necessary for more accurate replay. 

You know this set is already better than anything SSI will put out. Why waste $20.00 for teams made up of "Firstbaseman 1",  "Pitcher 4", etc.
