   INSTALLATION

For All Drivers
---------------
To use these new drivers, replace the corresponding driver in your
\MMOS2 directory with that supplied here.  The new drivers will be
loaded the next time you reboot your system.

Additional Note For SOUND BLASTER 16 Driver
-------------------------------------------
If you would like to have simultaneous WAVE and Midi playback on your
Sound Blaster 16, please follow these steps:

1. Replace the SB16D2.SYS driver in \MMOS2 with the new one supplied
   here.
2. Copy SOUNDB16.dll to \MMOS2\DLL.
3. Make sure the following lines, in \MMOS2\mmpm2.ini are the same as
   they appear here:

  ...
  RESOURCEUNITS=2
  RESOURCECLASSES=2,1,1
  VALIDCOMBINATIONS=1,2,2,1

Multi-instance
--------------
You can open multiple digital audio or MIDI players on the desktop,
and play the music sequentially as you switch focus from one player
to another.

Creative Mixer
--------------
The Creative Mixer program (available separately on the Creative BBS), 
together with these drivers, allows you to adjust the various settings
(like volume and input source) on your Sound Blaster Pro, Pro 2 or 16.

Simultaneous WAVE & MIDI Playback On the Sound Blaster 16
---------------------------------------------------------
This feature allows you to play a WAVE and a Midi file simultaneously.
Please refer to the "Additioanl Note" under the INSTALLATION section
above for installation procedure.

Software IRQ, DMA & HDMA setting programmable on the Sound Blaster 16
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This new driver allows user to set the IRQ, DMA & HDMA channel on the
SB16 without having to remove or set the jumper on the SB16 cards.
