Z-Rom release version information. Copyright (C) 1993 Zee Data Systems All Rights Reserved Below is a list of things that I have been THINKING about writing into the CD-Rom door. These things have come from suggestions as well as my own thoughts. This list will be updated with each release and the availablility of the features will be based upon user input. =============================================================================== 1 - Support for more than 1 CD-Rom drive on a system. This will be a plus for those of you with multiple players and several CDs. 2 - Drop to DOS function in the Statusline. 3 - I *MIGHT* make the color scheme SysOp configurable. =============================================================================== Below is a summary of the releases of Z-Rom starting with the most recent release to the first release. =============================================================================== 006b (02-13-94) * Fixed Bug: Which was reading the baud rate from the VConfig Port settings and, therefore, calculating the Xfer times at the MAX speed vs. the actual Connect speed. * Added : marking by file name or number. Let me know how this goes! * Added : Finally! The protocols are here! * Fixed Bug: Actually... There are several other little bugs that were fixed. =============================================================================== 005b (12-30-93) * Fixed Bug: Which screwed up the ZOOM modems... Hope this works, guys! This was fixed with a completly new set of ASYNC routines! * Added : Ability to Request a CD from the list of CDs online. * Changed : Method of determining which CD is avialable. Z-Rom doesn't use the Day-Of-Week method anymore... Just plop a CD in the CD-Rom drive and it should be able to find it! * Changed : Method of LOGGING information into the BBS.LOG file. This should make it more readable and better in general. * Added : The Chat function to the StatusLine... (Nothing Special!) * Changed : The initial login screen for a more pleasurable look. * Added : Ability to attatch a list of BAD files to a CD. This WAS in a previous version but was undocumented. =============================================================================== 004b (11-23-93) * Fixed Bug: That would exit with a RunTime Error 200 (Division by 0) if your Cost Per K of DownLoad was 0. * Fixed Bug: That same damn one with the runtime error 002 just before a download. This *WAS* corrected this time. The problem wound up to be in the Erasing of the DSZLOG file. Sorry about the confusion - MAJOR BrainFart! * Added : *MOST* of the StatusLine functionality and also moved it to the Top line instead of the bottom. This gives a little bit more fluidity with VBBS. Changed colors, too. The only Command that does not work is the Chat. * Added : Feature that will enable the SysOp to make a heartcode file (filename.ACC) that will be displayed to users who do not (For any reason) have access to the current CD. If there is no .ACCess file for the CD, the normal access message will be displayed. =============================================================================== 003b (11-15-93) * Fixed Bug: which caused the Runtime error (for SOME people) 002 @ xxxx:xxxx. This was a wierd error in the local ANSI emulator. Should not be a problem now. * Fixed Bug: In transfer time evaluation which would mis-calculate the transfer time and not let users download files which they should be able to download. * Fixed bug: Various spelling/grammer errors (Never was good at that). * Added : Support for 250 files sections per CD. There was a 99 section limit in previous versions (Which I forgot to mention in the Doc's). The limit has been upped to 250 sections to support those of you who have the CDs from the internet. =============================================================================== 002b (11-12-93) * Fixed Bug: in the 2 minute timeout process. This was a "duh" on my part. =============================================================================== 001b (11-12-93) * Initial release. Hope it is fairly good. ===============================================================================
