Golden Flame Necklace & Earrings by Westrim Crafts

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Jewelry Pliers (#PC10 and #PC92)
Glue

For Necklace and Earrings:

1 - Lg. "You Bead It" Glass & Metallic Bead Strand (#23817)
1 - Med. "You Bead It" Glass & Metallic Bead Strand (#23717)

For Necklace:

1 - 14mm Ant. Gold Ancient Treasures Melon Bead (#18755)
20 - 10 1/2mm Ant. Gold Ancient Teasures Beaded Ring (#18761)
2 - Lg. Gold Bead Tips (#5321/4)
1 - Gold Barrel Clasp (#5649/4)
1 - Beading Needle (#897)
60" - Beading Thread (#895)

For Earrings:

1 Pair - Gold Fishhook Ear Wires (#5250/4)
2 - Gold 2" Head Pins (#5821/4)
4 - Gold 2" Eye Pins (#5517/4)

Bead Design Board (#201)

NOTE: If desired, additional beads may be added to lengthen necklace.

INSTRUCTIONS: Earrings

1. Place 1 round gold plated bead and 1
   round decorated glass bead onto a 2"
   Use pliers to bend end of pin. to form a loop.

2. Place 1 white medium round decorated glass bead
   onto a 2" eye pin. Bend end to form a loop. Cut
   away excess.

3. Place 1 round gold plated bead onto a 2" eye pin.
   Bend end to form a loop. Cut away excess.

4. Attach pin loops and ear wire loop as shown. Use
   jewelry pliers to tighten all loops.

5. Repeat steps #1 to #4 for second earring.

INSTRUCTIONS: Necklace
1. Attach one loop of barrel clasp to one loop of bead
   tip. Use pliers to secure.

2. Thread beading needle with a 78" length of beading
   thread. Knot ends and set knot with a dab of glue.
   Then run needle througn. hole in bead tip and close
   securely.

3. Arrange beads on Design Board. String beads onto
   beading needle and thread in the order shown.

4. Bring needle and thread through bead tip hole.
   Tightly knot thread, secure with a dab of glue and
   close bead tip. Cut away excess thread.

5. Assemble clasp loops as in Step #1.
