Use a pushpin or T-pin to open holes. Beads are held in place along cording by tying knots. INSTRUCTION: NECKLACE 1. To make a necklace bead drop, string 1 large and 6 small gold beads onto a headpin (see photo). Bend end of pin to form a loop (ill. 1). Repeat for a total of 6 bead drops. 2. To make a "leaf" drop, place 1 "leaf" bead and 1 small gold bead onto a headpin. Bend end to form a loop (ill. 1). Repeat for a total of 3 drops. 3. Stiffen ends of cord with a small amount of craft glue. Allow to dry and trim cord ends to a sharp point. 4. Prepare beads arrd drops for each strand as shown in photo. 5. Identify the group of beads that center on each strand. String the appropriate beads onto each strand and tie a knot at both ends of each bead group. 6. Allowing 1" of straight card between knots orr longest strand, (2" on middle strand and 2 1/2" on shortest strand) string remaing beads and knot cord as shown in photo. 7. Lay strands on table. On each side, bring the 3 strand ends together. Apply glue to cord ends. Lay cord ends into crimp (ill. 2). Use pliers to close crimp to securely hold ends. 8. Assemble clasp, crimps and jump rings as shown. Use pliers to close securely. INSTRUCTIONS: EARRINGS 1. String a gold bead and flat disk; bead onto headpin. Finish end to form a loop. Securely close loop around loap of eye pin. 2. String "teardrop" bead and gold bead onto eyepin and finish end to form a loop. 3. Enclose earwire loop in eyepin loop (see photo). 4. Repeat steps #1 to #3 for second earring.
