If you are installing this driver as an upgrade for an older version, or if this is a completely new installation, you should first read the installation notes in INSTALL.TXT (please ignore an icon for model XXXXXX which may appear in the driver file window during installation). In addition, you should ensure that your printer is set up correctly for use with the driver. If you received this driver in a ZIP file, or the driver disk has been copied using DOS instead of OS/2, you must reconstruct the driver disk BEFORE installing the driver. To do this, you should run the OS/2 command RESETEA on the driver disk. If you do not do this, the driver will not install correctly on your system. This file contains the following: 1. RELEASE NOTES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Release Notes for Version 1.3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The names of .INI file records now have the OS/2 2.1 format (i.e. the prefix is PM_DD_). The following errors have been corrected: 1. Garbage was printed on the BJC-600 (Dip Switch 12 OFF) when using WordPerfect 5.2. 2. The characters 'AB' were spuriously printed when printing a plain text file by using 'Drag-and-Drop' or the 'copy' command from an OS/2 prompt.
