This is a utility to silence your sound board (Sound Blaster & compatibles).
Use it after a program, for whatever reason, forgets to silence the
soundboard before exiting to DOS, leaving an annoying hum or whine coming   
form the spakers. (I have a few of these programs).  You can also use it to 
silence the board after a program crashes & dumps you back to DOS with odd 
sounds blaring through the speakers (that's happened a few times too).  
Simply type  QUIET  at the DOS prompt and the soundboard will be quiet.
By the way, this program is not a TSR or anything fancy, it simply sends
a "speaker off" command to the soundboard (what the offending program should
have done in the first place!)  The soundboard is otherwise unaffected & 
is ready for the next program to use it.
