   Voted Country Music Association's "Entertainer of the Year" and
Music City News' seven-time "Comedian of the Year," Mel Tillis has created
an all-new show for 1994.  Tillis and The Statesiders band will perform
daily in Mel's brand new 2700 seat theater located two miles off Highway
65 on Missouri Highway 248.

   The splendid new theater, fine-tuned with hospitality and confort in
mind, opened April 1st.  The audience can relax and enjoy Mel's music,
songs, dancing, stories and jokes in continental seating with new wider
aisles.  In the lobby, you can shop at Wanda's fabulous gift area, plus
you'll find a larger concession stand with everything from Mel's Aunt
Ethel's carmel corn to Sandi's world famous hot dogs!

   New in 1994, Mel Tillis presents Jimmy Travis onstage for 90 nutty
non-stop minutes of great music, hilarious comedy and outrageous toe-
tapping audience participation.  Tillis says, "Jimmy Travis has performed
with me on numerous occasions at Harrah Hotels and my theatre in Branson,
Missouri.  He is a funny, funny, funny, funny guy!  And I didn't stutter."
Travis is best known from appearances on TNN and The Nashville Now show.
He has performed in concert with such diverse stars as Barbarra Mandrell,
The Righteous Brothers, The Judds, Loretta Lynn, Wynonna, Roy Clark and 
Crystal Gale.

   The Morning Mania show will feature Jimmy in the songs and comedic
routines that have made him an international favorite.  A versatile,
top-notch comedian, he will also showcase his talent as a singer, 
songwriter and musician.  Members of the audience will have the 
opportunity to be involved in zany games and fun contests, with a chance
to win exciting prizes!
