Florist Program Configuration Instructions:


The first time the Florist program is run, it will look for its configuration
program.  If this program doesn't exist, it will then create one.

You MUST enter these items when asked for them:

1) The tax rate of your state (sales tax) as (1.1-99.9).

2) The name of your business

3) The Street address of your business

4) The City and State of your business

5) The Area Code and Phone # of your business.

6) The amount of discount you want to give other Florists (integer 1-99)

7) The amount of late charge in whole dollars to add for late payment.

After you have successfully entered this information, your program has the
necessary information to execute proper calculations based on orders etc.

IF FOR SOME REASON .. YOU GET A VERSION OF THE PROGRAM THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN
CONFIGURED FOR A BUSINESS OR WHATEVER, AND YOU WANT TO RE-CONFIGURE IT TO YOUR
BUSINESS, JUST ERASE ALL THE DATA FILES IN ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROGRAM.

YOU CAN DO THIS BY DOING THIS FROM THE DOS COMMAND LINE.   ERASE *.DAT
NOW WHEN YOU RE-RUN THE PROGRAM FLORIST.EXE , IT WILL ASK YOU TO CONFIGURE.
