Make sure the program files are flagged correctly. 3. Check for proper syntax in the .ENV file. a. If the .ENV file is correct, verify that all .SET files are in the directory specified in the .ENV. b. Are there other .SET files on the network? Where? 4. Try logging in as another user or as supervisor. 5. Try using another station. 6. Duplicate from a blank screen. 7. Exit WP, come back in and try to duplicate. 8. Try a stand-alone machine. 9. If a printer problem, a. check if Network Port, or Local Port b. hook the printer up locally and try again c. print from another application d. print from DOS to a network printer 10. Check for memory conflicts between the network card and Expanded memory, device drivers, or EGA/VGA cards. 11. Check Software Change Notices. 12. Check Folio. 13. Unload any unnecessary TSRs and try again. Note: (IF APPLICABLE) If the customer is having a problem in the International version of the product, try having him/her duplicate the problem in the latest US version of the product. Computer make, model, and processor type. 3. Type, version, and date of network. 4. Graphics card type and graphics screen type. 5. Network card type (user must provide). 6. Make and version of DOS (type VER, then COMMAND at DOS). 7. When did the problem begin occurring? 8. Memory address of network card. 9. Contents of AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, and any other system files pertinent to WP (Novell's login script, Banyan's user profile, any batch files used to access WP). 10.
