       NOTE: THIS DOES NOT DEFEAT THE COPY PROTECTION OF TIE FIGHTER!

This TSR will stuff the keyboard buffer with passwords that YOU supply.  A
sample TPASS.DAT file is included, but the words listed are NOT the actual
passwords.  You must modify the TPASS.DAT file with the passwords from your
original TIE FIGHTER manual.  Just go to each page which has passwords and
replace the PAGExx words in TPASS.DAT with the actual passwords.

Load the TSR by executing TPASS.COM.  TPASS requires about 11K.

When you are at the password entry, you will asked for the password of a
particular page number.  Press Ctrl-F2, then press the keys of that page
number.

You may notice that the cursor will occassionally jump from OK to EXIT TO DOS
and back to OK.  This is necessary.  The TIE Fighter password entry routine
doesn't seem to like receiving two of the same letters in a row, quickly.
It will discard the second letter.  It took me a bit to figure this out, and 
a simple way around it.  Well, that simple way is to move the cursor, which
TIE Fighter accepts.

Some of the passwords in TIE Fighter are quite long, and the keyboard has a
maximum buffer of 15 characters.  Because of the necessary cursor jumping,
a password may exceed this limit.  If so, you'll either have to press OK to
end or possibly type in the remaining few letters of the password.  Since the
passwords should be obvious from that point, this shouldn't be a problem.
Actually, I haven't tried to test this program through every password, since
the word you are asked is random.

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THE TIE FIGHTER PASSWORDS, NO MATTER WHAT!!!  If we wish
to continue to enjoy the excellent products from LucasArts, then we must
abide by their copyrights and endure the copy protection.  This program
provides a simple way for LEGITIMATE USERS for entering those passwords.
If you have received the TPASS program with an TPASS.DAT or other file
containing the actual passwords, I DIDN'T PUT THEM THERE and I'm not
responsible for any legal action or expenses which you may incurr.
