HOW TO PLAY LACE MULTIMEDIA FILES. EQUIPMENT: First of all, it is recommended that you have at least a 486 machine with 4 meg of Ram and a video card with 256 Colors. You will also need a sound card in order to listen to the accompanying music and obviously you need Windows 3.1. LACE MULTIMEDIA FILES: The Lace Multimedia Files are produced so that you can see a variety of images of the talent from their photo shoot, set to music. LACE offers two different versions of any photo shoot; a 60 second version and a 30 second version. The 60 second version will contain approximately 12 images of the talent during their photo shoot. The images are arranged in sequential order. The 30 second version usually will be about 1/2 of the images from the 60 version. HOW TO PLAY THEM: The Lace Multimedia Files, after they are unzipped will have a ".AWM" extension after them. They may only be played with this Player Program. For ease of use, we are going to give you the following instructions so that you may set up an icon to play them in Windows. 1. Make sure that you are in Windows Program Manager. Click on FILE, the NEW. A New Program Object will open and allow you to create a Program Group. Make sure the Program Group is selected. Click OK. 2. In the Description Box, type LACE MULTIMEDIA, then hit OK. 3. Now with the LACE MULTIMEDIA box open, click on FILE, again, then on NEW. Now the New Program object box will open again, but this time, you want to create a Program Item. So Click on OK. 4. The Program item Properties box has opened. Click on Browse and go to the drive and directory where you have installed the Player Program. Click on AWPA.EXE so that it appears in the Command Line. When it does, click ok. The Player Icon will now appear with the word AWPA underneath. 5. To play an AWM file, go to the directory where they are located. Highlight the file and then use the insert movie command so that it appears on the play list. Click on Play and enjoy the show. 6.
